description abstractAir-stripping is a viable treatment process for removing volatile organics from water. However, the design equations governing the stripping process do not often convey the sensitivity of the process to, and the critical ranges of, the design parameters. To aid in the understanding of the stripping process, a nomograph is presented, which could be used as a design tool, and in evaluating the effects of the process variables on the total system. The use of the nomograph in estimating the K
