description abstractThis technical note describes a computer program written to generate the member stiffness matrix for geometrically nonlinear space frames using the equations of three-dimensional (3D) beam-columns without cross-sectional warping. (The 3D beam-column equations simply extend what is commonly done in two-dimensional (2D) beam-columns to beams in space where there now exist many unexplored, coupled buckling phenomena.) A power series approach is used to solve these equations.
