| description abstract | This paper examines the three-dimensional elastostatic problem related to the interaction between a smoothly indenting rigid circular punch on a transversely isotropic elastic half-space and an internal concentrated force. The localized force acts at an arbitrary point within the half-space region. The analysis of the problem focuses on the evaluation of the resultant displacement and rotation experienced by the rigid punch. | |
