| description abstract | This paper discusses a simplified method which was proposed a few years ago by J. Zarka and J. Casier to obtain a straightforward evaluation of the total inelastic strain which accumulates in a structure under cyclic loadings when shakedown occurs for a linear kinematic hardening material. The theoretical basis is recalled and an example of the application of the method is given which underlines its efficiency. | |
