description abstractAn orthonormal metal processing technique called Mixalloy Process is investigated experimentally. Lead and tin, aluminum and copper, and aluminum and tin were mixed in an impingement mixing chamber and cast in water-cooled copper molds. The microstructure of these Mixalloy products are characterized and compared with those made conventionally.
