description abstractA method is described for solving certain problems of subsonic aerodynamic design where flow boundaries in the physical plane are required to have specific dynamic characteristics. The method is tested on two type-problems with known exact solutions: the two-dimensional gas jet and the flow in the neighborhood of stagnation points. It has been found to give the solution with a degree of accuracy acceptable for practical design.
