description abstractThis paper, in general, discusses the technically important points in total planning of rotary car dumper systems. Total systems installations include, aside from terrain and trackage, such items as car retarders, electronic weigh scale platens, the many combinations of dumpers, car ejectors, train positioners and hammermills. Pollution control and OSHA safety provisions are also discussed. The paper will also explain technological details of design which promotes smoothly operating systems.
