description abstractLeadership skills are central to the success of any organization. Whether that organization is a project, a program, a company, or even a nation, leadership is essential. In this paper, I will examine two different aspects of leadership. The first originates from the individual perspective, namely, how do each of us become leaders? What are the skills, traits, and characteristics of leaders? And, conversely, what are their obligations? The second aspect of leadership flows from one of the obligations of leadership, specifically, how do you build a culture of leadership in your organization?
