description abstractThere are demonstrable relationships between an individual's behavioral preferences (as measured by Myers-Briggs Type Instrument) and the perceptions by others of that individual's leadership effectiveness (as measured by the Campbell Leadership Index instrument). The correlations between the results of these instruments when both were administered to individuals as part of leadership workshops are presented. This combination of behavioral and leadership assessment instruments is a powerful tool to use in identifying steps that can be taken to improve leadership effectiveness.
