| description abstract | This research presents a novel microlevel (i.e., project-level) construction productivity framework aimed at measuring and benchmarking productivity consistently within and between projects, work packages, and activities. Using a design science research approach, the framework was rigorously developed with data collected from UK-based construction projects and refined through several cycles of implementation and industry engagement. The framework is useful in providing new insights into project performance, helping understand process variability, setting benchmarks, and conducting data analytics for improved decision making. This framework can be used for industrywide measurement both within and across subsectors of construction in the UK and internationally. | |
