description abstractThis article will explore the adequacy of the Jordanian legal system in providing sufficient protection for engineers. The author argues that there are serious obstacles in terms of legal liability of engineers in construction industry in Jordan. Therefore, this article will examine the applicability of the general rules of contract and tort law in order to provide adequate protection for engineers in construction contracts.
