description abstractThis paper aims to present the process control laws developed for the concentrated solar power plant in Dhursar India by Areva Solar. The technology (linear Fresnel reflector (LFR), direct steam generation (DSG), once-through) used to produce superheated steam although being the most direct method is also the most challenging regarding the controls. The main control loops presented here are the flow control, the energy input control, and the steady-state optimization. With these control laws, the plant was able to produce 110 MWe in March 2016.
