description abstractRadiative parameters of ensembles of ice and water hydrometeors at 19.35, 37.0, 50.3, 100, 130 and 183 GHz were computed by means of Mie theory. Extinction and absorption coefficients as well as the coefficients of Legendre polynomials in a series representation of phase functions are presented as functions of the hydrometeor density. Results are computed for ensembles of particle sizes characterized by Marshall-Palmer and Best distribution functions.
