| description abstract | An easily applied statistical method for adjusting wind roses that are biased toward prime (intermediate) directions is developed on the basis of several reasonable assumptions, The method gives estimates of the excess observations from each prime (intermediate) direction and the number to be restored to each intermediate (prime) direction.
