description abstractBoiler pressure drop testing has become a useful tool in evaluating the internal waterwall tube deposition on two once-through supercritical pressure boilers. This paper presents the results of five years of testing and describes test procedures, instrumentation requirements, and analysis techniques. The result of this test program has been the minimizing of unit forced outages due to waterwall tube failures.
