description abstractThis paper presents a correlation function for the disk type of positive displacement oil meters. This correlation will predict the shift in the calibration curve due to differences in fluid conditions with an accuracy of ±1/2 percent. The prerequisite is a valid calibration of that meter under known fluid conditions. The analysis and approach presented in this paper are applicable to all designs of positive displacement flow meters.
