description abstractIn our previous paper, we dealt with steady plane thermoelastic problems in a multiply connected domain by the method of five elementary stress functions. As an extension of this method to transient thermoelasticity, this paper is concerned with the uncoupled quasi-static transient plane thermoelastic problems in a polygonal cylinder with a circular hole.
