description abstractThe high-temperature corrosion resistance of several boiler steels was tested experimentally in laboratory and industrial conditions in the presence of chlorine-containing external deposits. The empirical kinetic equations for the calculation of corrosion depth, depending on operational time and temperature, were established and the dependence of corrosion resistance of the austenitic steels on the alloying elements ratio Ni–Cr was analyzed.
