| description abstract | I am pleased to inform you of four recently appointed Associate Editors: Dr. Ahmed A. Shabana for design automation, Dr. Daniel Yang for mechanisms and robotics; Dr. Ahmet Kahraman for power transmission and gearing; and Dr. J. C. Moosbrugger for reliability stress analysis & failure prevention. Drs. Madhu Raghavan and Jahangir Rastegar have done excellent jobs in handling the reviews of papers. I am glad that both of them have agreed to serve for a second term. I would also like to thank Drs. Jonathan Cagan and Alex Diaz for their services to the Journal of Mechanical Design during the last three years. | |
