| description abstract | Run length and total run length probabilities are examined for mixed sea states, resulting from the combination of a remotely generated wave field and a locally generated wave system, based on numerically simulated wave records. Two peaked sea states are classified in nine representative groups, in terms of two dimensionless parameters.
