| description abstract | An equation of state and expressions for enthalpy and entropy are presented for water in the region of maximum density (from freezing to about 30 deg C for pressures up to about 2500 bars). A table of thermodynamic properties computed from these expressions (Table 1) is included, and comparisons of calculated values with the data from which the equation of state was derived, and other formulations, are presented. | |
