description abstractA study is made of the steady-state axisymmetric flow of a homogeneous viscous liquid in a straight circular pipe with absorbing walls. The complete equations are solved numerically and the streamlines and other features of the flow are computed. Comparison is made with earlier results obtained by various approximate methods.
