description abstractIn this paper an elastostatic problem of two unequal elliptical holes subjected to internal pressures and shears are solved using the Kolosoff-Muskhelishvili stress functions, and the Schwarz alternating method of successive relaxation for multiply connected regions. Various stress concentration factors are obtained by changing the sizes of the two holes, the center distances, and the stress ratios on the two holes.
