description abstractThe effect of the application sequence of clamping forces on the mounting accuracy of a workpiece is investigated mathematically and experimentally. It is shown that clamping sequence causes a change in workpiece position on the machine tool. It is established that selection of a rational sequence of clamping force is important for the control of workpiece displacement under clamping forces.
