description abstractThe objective of the cyclic scheduling is the minimization of the job output interval between cycles from a manufacturing system in a steady state. A revised cyclic production method was developed to minimize the job output interval. The job output interval was obtained by analyzing the workflow network and the process network. An optimum scheduling procedure was constructed and a numerical example was presented.
