description abstractThis paper proposes an integro-differential equation to describe the decay of particle gas-borne concentration in recirculating turbulent flows which are fully mixed. Its application to the decay of gas-borne concentration for particles injected into the primary circuit of an Advanced Gas Cooled Reactor is considered. The novel aspect of this work is the way the resuspension following initial deposition is modeled.
