| description abstract | During various steps in the design of a nuclear power plant, it is a common practice to generate accelerograms matching a design spectrum for one particular value of the damping ratio. Such accelerograms, however, may be found unconservative for other values of the damping ratio. The present note describes a simple iterative procedure for generating accelerograms which envelop several design response spectra. | |
