ASME ( American Society of Mechanical Engineers )
Description: The American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) is a professional association that, in its own words, "promotes the art, science, and practice of multidisciplinary engineering and allied sciences around the globe" via "continuing education, training and professional development, codes and standards, research, conferences and publications, government relations, and other forms of outreach." ASME is thus an engineering society, a standards organization, a research and development organization, a lobbying organization, a provider of training and education, and a nonprofit organization. Founded as an engineering society focused on mechanical engineering in North America, ASME is today multidisciplinary and global.

Lubrication With Binary Mixtures: Liquid-Liquid Emulsion
Publisher: The American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME)
Abstract: There are numerous instances of technical importance in which multicomponent lubricants are utilized either by design or by necessity. In many of these cases one of the components is a liquid ...
Lubrication With Binary Mixtures: Liquid-Liquid Emulsion in an EHL Conjunction
Publisher: The American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME)
Abstract: Oil-in-water and water-in-oil emulsions are often employed as lubricants. In many applications of emulsion lubricants both the deformation of the bounding solid surfaces and the pressure dependence ...
Lubrication With Binary Mixtures: Bubbly Oil
Publisher: The American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME)
Abstract: Mixtures do not exhibit Newtonian behavior even when their individual components themselves are Newtonian, and thus classical lubrication theory is not applicable to bearings lubricated with ...
